Murray, John Alexander, 63, of Clementsport, Anna. Co., passed away Sunday, February 21, 2010 in the Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal, as a result of cancer. He was born in Windsor, the son of the late Donald & Jessie (Beattie) Murray. John was known as a kind and humorous person. A teacher, musician, skilled craftsman and friend to many. Hated garlic. Thanks to all who gave their love and support. He appreciated you all. He is survived by his companion, Carol Dibble and her daughter, Sarah Snider; his daughter, Kiersten (Pat), Clarke’s Beach; Newfoundland; sons, Trevor, Vancouver, B.C.; Clayton (Kirsty), Port Wade; brother, Daniel (Beverly), Hantsport; his former wife, Nyna Cropas, Weymouth. Cremation has taken place under the care & direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook. A celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date.
