Gilliatt, John Patton “Jack”, 89, of Granville Ferry, Anna. Co., passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010 in North Hills Nursing Home, Granville Ferry. Born in Annapolis Royal, he was a son of the late John & Gladys (Leslie) Gilliatt. Jack was in the Merchant Navy during the Second World War. He was long time active member of the Annapolis Royal Golf & Country Club. He is survived by two sons, Thane & Dale both of Ontario, and a number of nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Rae Burns; second wife: Pauline Anderson. Cremation has taken place under the care & direction of Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook. A graveside service will take place in Parker-Gilliatt Cemetery, Granville Ferry, at a later date. No flowers by family request.
